Vision 2014: What Would You Like to See?

by Rajesh Jain

Elections are a good time to look back and look ahead. It has been that both the last two governments have completed their terms. So, India 1999 is what we can remember, as also India 2004. And now we are at India 2009. Looking ahead, what do we want India 2014 to be like? Five years is a long time for change to happen.

As a tech entrepreneur, for me, one of the disappointments of the past 5 (perhaps, even 10) years has been the slow penetration of the wireline Internet and broadband in our lives. That’s one thing I’d like to see change in the next five years. On the flip side, the amazing growth in mobiles has been a great success story - even though we keep playing with the telecom policy every so often. But what we have seen so far is only the voice revolution. The data revolution (powered by 3G, 4G and broadband) is yet to arrive in India.

Three questions for you to think and answer:

  • What do you think is the biggest change from India 2004 to India 2009?
  • What has been the biggest disappointment of the past five years?
  • What is the Big Change you’d like to see from India 2009 to India 2014?

    * What do you think is the biggest change from India 2004 to India 2009?

The continued economic growth. It is important to do this. The growth of mobiles.

    * What has been the biggest disappointment of the past five years?

The increased terrorist attacks. The continuation of pig headed policies and spending tax payers money in these wrong policies.

The growth in the power of Sonia Gandhi and the waiting game for the Prince Rahul to take power.

    * What is the Big Change you’d like to see from India 2009 to India 2014?

Security for citizens in India. Continued economic growth and a energy security plan in place.

1.Biggest change since 2004 is the claim of pseudo development.Building numerous highrise apartments in urban areas without improving infrastructures like roads, power water and communications can never be called development. The real challenge is in development of infrastructure which the government has failed to deliver.
2.Biggest disappointment is the quantum rise in terrorist activities aided by the kid glove treatment of the government.
3.Issue of indentity cards to all citizens as a first step towards taking control of the chaotic situation in the country on all fronts.

    1. According to me the biggest change is know people is not too much rely on Government and they are trying to full fill there dream on there own.

    2. According to me the biggest disappointment is distance between religions increases in past five year.

    3. The big change I want to see in 2014 that every people say he has one religion and that is Indian.

Politics should be graduated to better quality of people. The three wings of democracy the Judiciary, Legislature and Executive shall have proper qualified people entering into the politics. There should be strict inner party democracy. Only parties with national voting of at least 20% shall be declared as national party with a condition that they should have presence at least 5 Loka Sabha or 25 Assembly seats duly elected in Four other states of various regions like North, South, Central East and West leaving the state they are present in order to qualify as a National Party. Otherwise all sundry parties are entering national mainstream and trying to prevail on their local political compulsions without giving weightage to the sensitivity of other region people.
There should be lateral entry into Executive Civil Service Postings in order to thwart lethargy among the officers who having been recruited decades old lose grip of the subject. There should be three levels of entry into government one at the age group of 21 to 25 and again at 41 to 45 and one more at 51 to 55 through a competitve exam cum proficiency tests. Lateral entries shall be apart from internal promotions of half of existing serving cadres and balance shall be opted to retire to pursue private life. This will give opportunity to serving officers to pursue private businesses and private business people having achieved certain milestones in early life can also have opportunity to enter at second and third level in the executive capacities. For example Chartered Accounts with about 15 years standing shall certainly qualify with as much as any IRS officers serving in the capacity of commissioners of different areas. In order not to get influenced regionally, Punjab CA can be recruited as Commissioner of Income Tax in Tamilnadu or vice verca. This will reduce corruption and also create threat perception in the minds of people who have been adopted to routine bureaucratic life style.
Similarly Judiciary shall have lateral entries at the level High Courts, District Courts and Supreme Court. For example, the entire quorum of judges of any high court shall be drawn from three lots, one from promotion from Ranks, one lot of people giving option to serving All India Service Officers like IAS and IPS to opt for taking up the position of Judge; and another lot from among practising lawyers fraternity provided all these people qualify in their individual group exam conducted by National Judicial Commission on the lines of Union Public Service Commission. This will give opportunity to bring in genuine intelligential into Judiciary. Besides this in order to deliver speedy justice, all specialised litigations should have tribunals drawn from experts of the respective fields to adjudicate the matter and conduct the trial and keep open for one appeal at the level of high court of respective state and only question of law should be allowed to be taken to Supreme Court which will be decided by a special Division bench of respective high court who will decide on the permissibility of taking such cases to Supreme Court. If required a just elevated Chief Justice of any High Court shall act as the Supreme Court Judge in waiting to clear these kind of special leave petitions on behalf of supreme Court.

I agree with you Mr. Ganesh, but our dear friend Mr. Rajesh want to know what changes we like to see, including developement and other issues. I would like to see first of all the developement of educational system. There is no substitue of education in the whole world. It is because of good education you both of my friends have better vision than many of the other Indians.

We have to bring in constitutional amendments to understand the sensitivity of majority of population over the minorities. The voting right of any person shall be worked like a stock of property of the family existing at the time of independence of India i.e. 1947 with the family then existing being assigned certain value of voting right which will be devolved in the faimlies just like the distribution of any property. this will remove the anomoly of population explosion in a particular religious community who donot follow birth control measures and keep on producing with the main objective of increasing population with an ultimate aim of becoming majority and taking over this country into their grips at the cost of majority of the population who are very dutifully following birth control measures. besides that, punitive measures for large families i.e. beyond 2 children shall be introduced after a cut off date like 1997 AD i.e. 50 years of independence being cut off point. Any couple having given more than two children shall lose all their civic rights like ration card, access to public utility services etc. Stoppage of increment, non availability of any loans etc. in a way the fundamental rights are curtailed in such class of people.
Constitutional Amendment of any such aspect shall have to require 9 times the assent of the dissent.i.e to say 90% voting shall be mandatory to change the basic fabric of the country as at the time of independence.
Every one irrespective caste, religion, creed shall be equal before law. If a decision is taken in the interest of nation that shall be final and not challengable of course with required circuit breakers in order not to misuse the powers and provisions.
The election process shall be at a pre-scheduled like every 6 years once shall be all the elections.
    To be concluded.

  9. Amit Srivastava on February 26th, 2009 11:56 pm

What do you think is the biggest change from India 2004 to India 2009?
The empowerment of masses. The explosive growth of mobile usage has given a tremendous amount of power and confidence among the masses. Also, the growth of media and the way they have started raising issues close to common man. Though media has a lot more miles to cover but it is definitely a good start. They have definitely been able to shape healthy public opinions.

What has been the biggest disappointment of the past five years?
I am sorry to say that I can’t vouch much for the government in all these years. They have wasted so much time for India that it would be impossible to repay. The worst thing is how states ruled by other parties have been ignored. Development in poor states like UP, Bihar, West Bengal and Orissa has been totally ignored. And when people from these regions migrate to places which has been getting all the attention (read Mumbai) and face local discrimination, this impotent government just keeps mum.

What is the Big Change you’d like to see from India 2009 to India 2014?
    1. Improvement in the conditions of farmers: Culture of India is Agriculture, and we have to transform it. Open up the farm retail sector to big companies, which can buy farm products directly from farmers. This is already happening on a low scale but a larger scale will totally transform the conditions of farmers. Create investment friendly laws for contract farming. This will get the money flowing into farming with all the latest technologies in the hands of farmers. The changed scenario will make the food cheaper for consumers as well as it will fetch many times more prices to farmers. The increased efficiency and improved farming and storage facilities will enable us in becoming a large exporter. Can BJP come up with a time-line here?
    2. Improved Health Infrastructure: Go to a village and ask any 30-40 something mom about the number of kids. The numbers are sure to be upwards of 4 and may be 10. Reasons?? One reason is that they don’t have much knowledge about birth control but the bigger reason is that they don’t want to control it. They simply don’t have enough confidence in our health infrastructure that it can make all their kids survive. They bear 7-8 kids in the hope of ending up with at-least 2-3. Isn’t it a shame on us? And to say that we have any dearth of talents who can be potential doctors/nurses will be utter stupidity. On one side, we have a whole bunch of people who want to become doctors and are surely talented enough, on the other side there is this whole population in need of treatment. The government just needs to build some more medical colleges and hospitals. I belong to Uttar Pradesh and in last 15 years I have never heard of any new medical college coming up. Where the hell are we headed to? We urgently needs lots of medical colleges. Even if that means setting up a new pay-grade for professors in those colleges. Can BJP come up with a number here?
    3. Energy: We urgently need some action here. We have to start firing guns in all directions, nuclear, wind, solar, hydro, coal etc.. anything.. We need energy. I come from a small town (Jaunpur in UP) and electricity conditions in those place are so bad that you get electricity only for few hours and those hours are never the prime studying hours for kids. They never get electricity in the evening till 11pm. How in the world do you expect kids to study in such conditions? How can you expect to run a business successfully with 50-60% of the time running it on diesel generators? PEOPLE OF INDIA DEMAND ABUNDANT ENERGY. BJP listenting??
    4. Uniform Development: Investments should also go to poor areas. Government’s job is not to make money but create sustainable development. Areas which have so far been neglected in investment should receive new ones without regard to the local government in place.
    5. Police Reform: There has been no improvement in the conditions of police since british times. We demand a commission to advice on steps. The commission should be given a timeframe of say 4-6 weeks to come up with their recommendations and then they should be vigorously followed. No excuses like state-list etc are acceptable here. It has to be done.

    1. Transperancy in politics and government related works.

2.Best education system. Let education reach the villages which empowers these people with latest trends in the market, either in agriculture or software. Knowledge is Power.

    3. Build ROADS to reach the masses. Provide inter-connectivity between villages and cities.

    4. Social Security System which helps the elderly with pension schemes.

    5. Uninterupted supply of electricity for villages so that their hardship does not go in vain.

    6. A transperant Law and order system where everyone has the same punishment code.. Provide the cops with all authorities to book cases against the convicts.

    1. Infrastructure, Infrastructure and more infrastructure

    2. Revamping of the educational sector.

    a. Appointing an education ombudsman and revamping the syllabus to be more reflective of the Indian ethos.
b.Letting private sector manage the schools based on government infrastructure. Hence converting into a service business remunerated on student satisfaction and external audits
c.developing a point system for the evaluation of the schools
    d. mandating sanskrit education from grade 1

    3. Ditto with health and hospitals as education

    4. Set up a police academy on the lines of the NDA, where police go through a 24 month to 30 month education programme

    4. Completely modernise the armoury of the police forces

    5. Review of all the laws of the british raj and frame laws suitable for independent India

    6. Legislate that hindu temples will not be allowed to be taken over by govt and have same rights as minority institutions

    7. Look at monetising the gold that is available in Indian households and use it for infrastructure investments

    8. rationalise tax policy. Reduce individual tax rates to 20 percent over a 3 year period. Abolish all deductions except for medical, housing and child education. Bring corporate tax rate to around 25 percent and abolish all the deductions available. Implement a single VAT system in the country. Abolish octroi and other levies.

    9. Introduce a training college for judges and lawyers. Legislate under what circumstances can the goverment sue ( 80 percent of the cases in court are beacuse of the govt)

    10. strengthen gram panchayats and overall decentralise power to the gram panchayat.

    11. review interlinking rivers project as this is going to be one of the biggest problems India will face.

    12. Significant focus on agriculture. Review co-op programs that will enable use of technology, seeds etc

My two bits, if someone is going to use these ideas.

Secondly, I read that LK Advani plans to build the Ram Mandir at Ayodya as soon as the party comes in power. Will this not disturb the harmony in the country. How can be forget that time when Mumbai was burning and there were riots in the city. Mr. Advani do think about it……

I personally don’t prefer BJP becuase they support Hinduism. We need a party who will be secular. Even to all the people of INDIA and not only to a particular religion.

  17. venkatesh on February 27th, 2009 4:47 pm

    Kingston,

hinduism is by definition truly secular. If the muslims riot beacuse an unused mosque that means everything to hindus, is broken. It is their problem. You do what is right. Secularism is needed in christian and muslim countries, because they dont respect other religions. With hinduism is not the case. There is no better alternative than the BJP. The congress is a perverted party looking at spreading christian hegemony, through any means possible. BJP surely is a lesser of the evils, though by no means perfect.

  18. KISHAN PRASAD on February 27th, 2009 5:45 pm

1.What is the problem to change Representation of People’s Act and introduce the voting right as a stock of right to the unit of family that was existing at the time of independence. For ex. if X is living today and his father was born in 1949 who can very well remember what was the composition of his family at the time of 1947 and a stock of vote is declared to each individual then existing on the date of independence and from there on the voting stock gets devolved on to their children just like property is distributed. This provision shall not be amendable except with voting right of 90% so that no party in power in future for the coming 500 years can change the position.
This will arrest the anamoly of population explosion in one particular conservative minority group. This is the biggest threat imminent for India in the nearest time to come.
PLEASE SECULAR POLITICIANS REALISE THIS IMMINENT DANGER, FOR GOD’S SAKE DONOT IGNORE THIS PROBLEM AND DONOT CLOSE YOUR EYES. WE ARE IN DANGER AND WE HAVE ALREADY ENTERED THE DANGER ZONE.
BJP SHALL TRY THEIR BEST TO ESTABLISH A MAJORITY GOVERNMENT BY GOING TO PEOPLE.
    TAKE THE HELP OF INTELLECTUALS.

BE IT BANGLADESH ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS OR ANY SUCH OTHER ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THE PROBLEM IS TICKING LIKE A TIME BOMB. SOONER OR LATER, ON A PLATTER WE ARE GOING TO HANDOVER THE COUNTRY TO MINORITY WITH 25% VOTING RIGHTS VERY SOON WHICH IS LIKELY TO HAPPEN AND WE ALL MAJORITY FELLOWS JUST WATCH LIKE FOOLS AND THEN THE SO CALLED SECULARISTS WILL BE VANISHED IN THE THIN AIR. To make the country curruption free, we must pay the people at the helm of affairs a good decent salary, any way perks are as it is very good. MPs should be remunerated based on their performance and attendance.
Each MP constituency shall be a district where in the elected MP and the legislators of assembly segments are ex-officio members of District Executive Committee. District Magistrate and Collector shall be the District Administrator. Each district shall be a Profit and Social index center to keep a watch on the performance of the elected and selected public servants evaluated.

    Kiran,

If you measure successes by number of bills passed, you are perhaps right. If you see what has happened to the many schemes you have touted as achievements, then you would be shocked. The CAG clearly seems to indicate that the govt is in involved in satyam accounting.

the UPAs non-performance is indefensible and educated people like you saying so is surprising to say the least

I would like to see the second green revolution by starting the nationwied project of “Interlinking of Rivers”. We know that the project is not so easy to execute. it has a huge amount of expenditure. but there is ray of hope from the BJP an its allies who will intiate the same. as in the past they had initiated it with the separate portfolio for the the same under Mr. Suresh Prabhu. But i am surprised the way UPA even didnt thought of the same ambitious project.

The project can the future of the country. It ha potential of creating eployment in rural india and masses. The water problem. the electricity generation projects, dams, flood relief by diversion of water from one river to other, and providinf relief to the drought hit area. I know together we can make the difference and the time has come.

  25. Kishan Prasad on March 3rd, 2009 6:37 am

More than any temple, let BJP unite all Hindus together. Unfortunately most of the Hindus behave that they are secular and their hypocrisy on this has made them to project as secular but in heart of heart every one who is a hindu feels proud of his religion. The long rule of moghuls preceded by other muslim dynasties and succeeded by british rulers has virtually tempered the mind and psyche of the Hindus thus making them either submissive or toeing the line of some ruler. Congress has brought the legacy of Freedom Struggle and from it several parties have mushroomed. The moot point to be considered here is how to unite all Hindus irrespective of castes and creeds. To some extent Shri L K Advani has been trying his best despite his age but reaching masses along the length and breadth of India needs a marathon long exercise. Advani’s Ratha Yatra has made him to get in contact with people and the Concept Ram Temple has complimented this but has not supplemented. So again again taking the Ram Temple issue will make it a stale news for the people who have already tasted the concept again and again over two decades now. Hence the best thing is to take up new mantra and reach masses and unite all Hindus together irrespective of castes and creed and win over their goodwill. For this a charismatic mass leader having National acceptability has to emerge. Had Advani been younger by another 15 years he would have certainly fit into the slot. There must be another nationally acceptable eloquent speaker. Modi could also have fit into but for his wrong image created due to Gujarat episode, some pseuodo-secularist-block to be brought under the flock of BJP needs a better secular mask.

HENCE BEST IS THE SUGGESTION I HAVE GIVEN IN MY EARLIER LINE OF WRITING.

CHANGE THE NAME OF BJP TO “INDIAN PEOPLES PARTY” JUST LIKE COMPANIES CHANGE THEIR NAME, LET BJP MERGE WITH ITS OTHER NDA ALLIES AND NAME IT AS INDIAN PEOPLES PARTY AND COME OUT AS A FORMIDABLE FORCE AGAINST “INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS”. THIS WILL CREATE A GREAT DENT

  26. Kishan Prasad on March 3rd, 2009 7:00 am

THE ORIGINAL NAME OF BJP WAS “JANA SANGH” WHICH IF TRANSLATED INTO ENGLISH WILL BE “PEOPLES UNION PARTY” EVEN THIS WILL ALSO SOUND LIKE SECULAR. UNFORTUNATELY IF SANSKRIT IS USED IT IS TERMED AS COMMUNAL AND IF THE SAME IS TERMED IN ENGLISH IT IS SECULAR. HENCE LET US TAKE THE PSYCHE OF THE PSEUDO SECULAR AND CHANGE THE NAME TO SOUND TO BE SECULAR. MY WRITINGS MAY NOT BE CONSTRUED AS I AM STAUNCH HINDU FUNDAMENTALIST. I AM AS MUCH A PSEUDO SECULAR AS ANY OTHER EDUCATED CIVILISED INDIAN. LET ME CANDID IN ADMITTING THIS FACT, BUT IN MY HEART OF HEART, I LOVE AND RESPECT THE SANATHAN DHARMA. THERE IS NOTHING GREAT IN OTHER RELIGIONS THAT WE HAVE TO DISRESPECT OUR RELIGION. ALL RELIGIONS PREACH THE SAME. IN FACT HISTORY TEACHES US THAT RELIGION AND POLITICS HAVE ALWAYS GONE TOGETHER. ONE MUST SEE ON EVERY DOLLAR CURRENCY NOTE, IT IS WRITTEN ”
IN GOD WE TRUST” THIS DOES NOT MEAN USA IS A COMMUNAL COUNTRY.
BELIEVE IN GOD IS LIKE BELIEVING IN SOME INTELLIGENT ENERGY THAT IS CONTROLLING US.

TO UNITE ALL HINDUS UNDER SINGLE VOTE BANK IT IS MUST THAT A MANTHRA THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO ALL SHOULD BE CHOSEN. WHAT IS THAT MANTHRA INTELLECTUALS SHOULD CHURN AND THINK AND ARRIVE AT AND THAT MANTHRA SHOULD KEEP INDIA UNITED FOR AT LEAST ONE THOUSAND YEARS.

FOR THIS THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES HAVE TO BE FORMULATED IN CONSULTATION AND BY TAKING CONFIDENCE OF RELIGIOUS HEADS.

    1. HAVE FREE AND UNFETTERED ACCESS TO ALL PEOPLE IRRESPECTIVE OF CASTE AND CREED INTO TEMPLES.

    2. AS FAR AS POSSIBLE MAKE ONE KIND OF HINDU TEMPLE LIKE VISHNU OR SHIVA OR A TEMPLE OF THRIMURTHIS SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHERE ALL DASHAVATHARAS CAN BE DEPICTED, BUT THERE SHOULD BE ONE NAME FOR THE TEMPLE AND THERE ALL SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO ENTER.

    3. VISIT AND DARSHAN OF LORD SHALL BE HORIZONTAL BUT NOT VERTICAL QUEUE SYSTEM; WHEREBY ALL THE PEOPLE AT APPOINTED TIME SHALL STAND PARELLEL AND HAVE DARSHAN OF THE MAGNIFICIENT SIZE LIKE HANUMAN OR VISHWARUPA OF VISHNU SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

    4. CONSULT PUNDITS AND FIX TIMINGS WHERE ALL THE PEOPLE CONGREGATE AND A PUJA CEREMONY OR RITUAL IS CONDUCTED BY HEAD PRIEST OR GROUP OF HEAD PRIEST; PREFERABLY A GROUP MADE OUT DRAWN FROM VARIOUS COMMUNITIES, I MEAN CASTES, SHOULD BE CONSTITUTED. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF RECOGNITION OF ALL PEOPLE ARE EQUAL BEFORE GOD.

    5. INVOLVE PEOPLE AT THE APPOINTED TIME IN BHAJANS LIKE WHAT HAPPENS INFORMAL GATHERINGS OF AYYAPPA SWAMY PUJAS ETC.

    6. TO HAVE CLEAR VISION AND DARSHAN THE SANCTUM SANTORUM CONCEPT WHICH WAS THE OLD CONCEPT OF THE YESTER YEARS MAY BE CHANGED TO VERY LARGE SIZE IDOL HAVING VISION FOR A PARELLEL CONGREGATION OF AT LEAST 10 TO 15K PEOPLE AT A TIME. SUCH LARGE TEMPLES HAVE TO BE ERECTED.

    7. PROTECT ALL THE EXISTING TEMPLES AS HERITAGE STRUCTURES AND MONUMENTS NOT TO BE DISTURBED BY ANY ONE. WHEN ALTERNATE GOD’S WORSHIP IS PROVIDED OVER A PERIOD OF TIME PEOPLE WILL AUTOMATICALLY FLOCK UNDER ONE UMBRELLA AND TOE THEIR LINES.

    8. ALL PEOPLE OF INDIA ARE CALLED “INDIANS” HENCE DONOT PROVIDE FOR ANY CLAUSE IN ANY OF THE DOCUMENTATION AND CONSTANTLY REMIND PEOPLE TO BE OF WHAT RELIGION.

    9. REGISTRAR OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS SHOULD MAINTAIN A REGISTER WHEREIN THE BIRTH OF A PERSON IS REGISTERED AND A NAME BE ASSIGNED WHICH WILL BE GENERATED BY A COMPUTER BY A PREFIXED ALGORITHM WHERE PEOPLE OF PARTICULAR AREA ARE NAMED IN A PARTICULAR FASHION FOR EG.

IN ANDHRA RAM IS REFERRED AS RAMA RAO, RAMAIAH, WHILE IN KARNATAKA THE SAME IS REFERRED AS RAMAPPA AND IN TAMILNADU AS RAMAN. SIMILARLY, IBRAHIM SHOULD BE NAMED AS IBRAHIM RAO, IBRAHIMAIAH IF REGISTERED IN ANDHRA, IBRAHIMAPPA IF REGISTERED IN KARNATAKA, IBRAHIMAN IN TAMILNADU LIKE THIS.

ALLOCATION OF NAME ALONGWITH A NATIONAL CITIZENSHIP NUMBER SHALL BE INTRODUCED FORTHWITH.

  27. Kishan Prasad on March 3rd, 2009 7:17 am

ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE WRITING TAKING THEIR PRECIOUS TIME.

I DONOT KNOW HOW MANY OF BJP GUYS ARE GENUINELY READING.

MOST OF THE POLITICIANS ARE SMALL TIME CRONIES HANGING AROUND SOME LEADERS LIKE ATTACHES.

THE CONCEPT OF POLITICS ALSO SHOULD BE CHANGED WHEREBY INTELLECTUALS WILL ALSO ENTER WHICH WILL EVENTUALLY CLEANSE THE SYSTEM.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE ON THE COUNTRY, PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, GENERAL LAWS, CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF CITIZENS ETC SHOULD BE THE MINIMUM QUALIFIED REQUIREMENTS FOR ANY ONE TO BE EVEN CONSIDERED FOR ANY SMALL POLITICAL CONTEST BE IT LOCAL ELECTIONS OR STATE OR NATIONAL ELECTIONS.

LET THERE BE A SIMPLE EXAM ON THE SUBJECTS AKIN TO SOCIAL STUDIES, MATHS AND GENERAL SCIENCES OF +2 SYLLABUS. IF SOME ONE QUALIFIES IN THE EXAM WITH ABOVE 50% SHOULD BE ADMITTED AS QUALIFIED DELEGATE INTO ANY NATIONAL PARTY. THESE QUALIFIED DELEGATES WILL HAVE THE VOTING RIGHT IN THE PARTY TO CHOSE A RIGHT CANDIDATE TO CONTEST IN ANY ENSUING ELECTION.

THERE MUST BE INNER PARTY DEMOCRACY.

THERE ARE ANY NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO ARE EVEN MINISTERS WHO MAY NOT WRITE ALL THE ALPHABETS IN HINDI OR THEIR LOCAL LANGUAGE. THEY NOT KNOW THE STATES OF THE COUNTRY. THEY MAY NOT BE AWARE OF THE RIVERS AND GEOGRAPHICAL DISCRIPTION OF THIS COUNTRY. IF SUCH PEOPLE ARE ELECTED AND EVENTUALLY ELEVATED AS MINISTERS, HOW CAN THIS COUNTRY HAVE A POLITICAL LEADERSHIP TO GUIDE THE NATION.

THE COUNTRY HAS TRANSITIONED FROM BRITISHERS THROUGH BRITISH INTELLECTUAL POLITICAL LEADERS INTO SIMPLE, RURAL POLITICAL LEADERS WHO ARE HARDLY QUALFIED ENOUGH TO LOOK INTO THE ISSUES OF THE COUNTRY. THE INDIAN CIVIL SERVICE WHICH IS THROUGH A PROPER EXAMINATION HAS BECOME INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE AND ALL OTHER ALL INDIA SERVICES LIKE IPS, IRS, IRTS ETC.

THE POLITICAL CLASS HAS BEEN WITH VERY POOR EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND, NEVERTHELESS THEY MAY BE GENUINE AND SINCERE TO DO SOME SERVICE, BUT THEY ARE UNDER THE PSYCHOLOGICAL INFLUENCE OF BUREAUCRATS WHO BEING EDUCATED AND ELITE MORE OFTEN TAKE THEIR POLITICAL BOSSES LIGHT DUE TO THEIR POOR EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND. FOR EXAMPLE, NO OFFICER CAN FOOL AROUND WITH MINISTERS LIKE CHIDAMBARAM,PRAFUL PATEL, KAMALNATH, MANI SHANKAR AIYER ETC. BUT CAN CERTAINLY GO EASY WITH MINISTERS WITH POOR EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND LIKE MANY OF THE GUYS IN THE CABINET OCCUPYING EVEN VERY IMPORTANT PORTOFOLIOS.

IF I WERE THE MINSTER OCCUPYING ANY POSITION, THE TOP RANKER OF ALL INDIAN CIVIL SERVICE COULD ALSO NOT FOOL ME ON ANY ASPECT. SO IS THE CASE WITH ANY SMART FELLOW OCCUPYING THE SEAT OF MINISTER. BUT SIMPLE POLITICIANS COMING FROM RURAL BACKGROUND ARE ALWAYS MISGUIDED AND HENCE THE WHOLE NATION CAN NOT RUN AT THE SPEED IT HAS TO.

SO IS THE CASE WITH ALL THE WINGS OF DEMOCRACY. JUDICIARY, LEGISLATURE AND EXECUTIVE.

I hope India will become certainly a super power in 10 years time provided people and politicians change their mind set.
From time immemorial , Bharat with its sanathana dharma ruled more than 5000 years till the invasion of muslims and christianity. Barring mughal period of 1000 years and british period of 200 years , more than 3800 years was golden period in Bharat. Why because , on the advice of great sages , kings ruled this country . That is why , we still call it is Rama Rajya, Guptas Golden Period, .King Ashoka , Kanishka , Chandragupta , Pallavan , Kakatiya ,Krishna Deva Roya and Cholas dynasties are still remembered. They did marvellous job. These alien culture carried by blood sucking , brain less race which has no basic roots of sanathana dharma spoiled India.Hence there is a need to get the Government based on the ethics passed on by our Great sages. We need to govern by the principles of sanathan dharma .We need the youth with iron nerves and steel body to take this country ahead. We need to create a patriotic society .We need to wipe the tears of poor people. We need to eliminate all those who appaese ceratin clas of people for vote bank.We need a society of corruption free, terrorism free , pseudo secularism free , poverty free, illiteracy free, naxalism free, appeasement free, infiltration free, violence free on women & children. Let us work to bring the change.
