A manifesto which is pn the right track. One can add or subtract but this is as great a startingpoint as any. Strongly see the need to eliminate Income tax for any indiidual assesse. This will go a long way in winning the elections.
One can introudce instead a blanket 2% expense tax (in any form). This will acutally increase the revenue for the govt as all will pay as opposed to Income tax which only a few pay.
This will change the election matrix in favour of BJP in a major way.
One can guarantee admission to all seeking admissions in a five year time frame this too will appeal to the middle class and swing votes big time.
1) BJP Manifesto is Pro-India.
2)BJP is pro- defense/army which is crucial due to our volatile neighbourhood.(Read today’s announcement on IT wiaver to Army and 1 Rank 1 Pay)
3) BJP is nationalist party( bring back swiss money and for other inclusive agenda read manifesto)
4) BJP is pro-middle class ( IT exemption upto 3 Laks pa , Tax free interest on FD’s )
5) BJP is pro-senior citizens ( Tax free pensions , lower age of definition of senior citizen?
6) BJP is pro-women ( IT exemption upto 3.5L , Reservation in Jobs ,Ladli Lakshmi schemes)
7) BJP is pro-reforms ( More disinvestment , More investment in NHAI/NHDP , Power etc)
BJP is pro-poor( Rs2/KG Rice/Wheat)
9) BJP is pro-farmer ( loan waiver , 4% interest loan, more irrigation , farm insurance)
10) BJP is pro-business ( NO FBT , No CST only GST)
11) BJP is pro-health ( More AIIMS , 108 ambulance)
I am happy to see such a clarity of vision from BJP.
@rakesh
kudos to the BJP…all that has to be done now by each and every concerned citizen is that we contribute in every way possible to help the BJP win this election and to help achive its objectives..

ibn live can never just REPORT -
on the manifesto coverage they have 1 para which goes like this -
“While the Congress under Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and party president Sonia Gandhi’s leadership has transformed its image from a decaying corrupt party to a liberal outfit with a modern outlook, the BJP’s rhetoric and public image of its firebrand leaders like Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has led to the party being projected as a conservative outfit which is still living in the days of the past glory and has lost touch with the ground reality and hence aspirations of the Indian middle class especially.”
Now if Narendra modi is not in touch with ground realities only this Reporter can explain how he gets a 2/3rd majority in his state.
This media B*** S*** is getting too much. Isnt there a Legal way to get these media persons to stop their CRAP ?
Frankly,if seen purely from economics point of view, the manifesto is a bit populist.Still I believe this is far better than the nearest competitors.
Best wishes to the party.I do dream that BJP gets atleast 4/5th majority this election.
The manifesto is really a lot better than the competitors. Also, the varied and far-reaching issues discussed show the importance that is being attached.
I agree with Raj that the manifesto is a little on the populist side. And there are portions where more thought is needed. But then with the kind of thoughts put in, I will give it a thumbs up
The only major problem I found was that they talk about improving the condition of farmers. The farmer doesn’t need support but opportunity to prove himself. IMO, the real change in the conditions of farming will come only when we are able to close the gap between the price end-consumers pay and the price farmers get (there is usually a difference of ten times.. thanks to our super inefficient supply chain).
I agree with Ayush’s frustration where a promising and progressive party like BJP or progressive leader like Narendra Modi is painted in wrong color.
My humble suggestion to the the party-while Modi has made quite good statements earlier e.g.”when I provide 24 hours 3 phase supply-does it apply or not apply to a given community?.Why do you want to divide everything into minority and majority?”.Perhaps a last statement is still needed. If I may -I would suggest 1 simple statement to the media-to be played on all channels from Modi could be as follows:
“I have already mentioned this earlier and would like to reiterate it again to disallow any negative propaganda by opponents, that 2002 post Godhra riots was a complex situation both in terms of alleged cause and alleged reaction and my government tried its best to control the same to the best of our abilities and resources
In the past 6 years we have worked tirelessly to ensure communal harmony and firm rule of law”.
Remember Mr.Modi has already said this in some of the earlier interviews but again saying this in a forcefully and in a simple manner would close this chapter once and for all which has given undue tool to bash the BJP and Modi for no reasons.
Great manifesto.Party needs be commended for tough stand on the burning issues.
I can clearly see a great deal of support in people for a BJP led government at the centre-we had enough of puppets ruling us.
However,as many people have raised it,I am worried about manipulation of results as the EVMs(which have the electronic chips manufactured abroad with no security regulation) by vested external interests. This is inspite of my full faith in the impartiality of the election commission. Can someone raise this from the party please?
The challenge now is convey what is mentioned in teh manifesto to the common people. As the media is against , people cannot see the benefits of the same. Friends- it’s a challenge..Do forward the highlights to all your contacts

I saw the manifesto this afternoon on News channele. Mr Ravisharkar prasad delivered the good presentation of the meanifesto to Media. The BJp has come back to its original agenda… which is good. a party should have its own identity and vistion . I liked uniform civil code. POTA come back.. tax exempt… But if NDA comes in to power then ally of the BJp like Jdu, AGP will not allow to go ahead on Ram temple,. 370 code. BJP should work on its orgasination in South states,, kerela. Andhra pradesh.. Tamilnadu.. if BJP has to make the gov on its own the at least 210-220 seats are required.. othe thing BJP has to work deadly to come back in UP… BJP has almost vanished in uttar pradesh.. with out revival in UP bjp will find it dammm hard to come back in power….
I’ll give the manifesto 8 out of 10.
The two points I totally dislike are:
a. It talks abour JOB QUOTAS! … Man, I hate this. I thought BJP would not do this.
b. I’m also against current WOMEN’s RESERVATION Bil. First of all, the contents of that bill is junk even if I agree to Women’s reservation.
If BJP is sincere, it must give consciously give enouogh tickets to women and not that stupid bill. We need Women’s representation but not through reserations!
c. The manifesto talks about various wonderful schemes. I understand that it is not budget but, what is the fiscal deficit going to be ? What are the sources of funds for implementing such schemes ? The manifesto doesnt talk about it.
On all other points, it is a dream manifesto. Kudos to the team which did such a wonderful job!
Also, for me BJP’s manifesto is not as relevant as NDA’s manifesto. I’m waiting for that. On what points does BJP commit not going back when they prepare NDA’s manifesto ?
BJP’s agenda is to kill everyone except Hindus.
I don’t hate hindus, my wife is a hindu. But I hate BJP.
I still remember how many christians and muslims died under their ruling in the past.
Please vote for non-BJP India a secular country.
After reading the manifest it looks like its not the BJP but The media who is confused. All media channels are not able to either fully criticize or fully praise the remarkable change in the party line. Media is trying to put BJP in a position where Damn if they do, Damn if they don’t.
Its clever chamchbazi on the part of media.
Whats wrong if BJP has put some of its core issue at the backburner, they are not the urgent need of the day..the need of the day is to provide much needed relief to all Indians from the wrong policies of Congress.
No tax upto 3.5 lakh is a wonderful gift to Indian middle class who are currently feeling the pinch of unemployment and inflation.
Rs. 2 per kg rice and wheat is going to save so many poor people from hunger..
Inspite of highlighting these point all channels choose to bash them for backtracking on Hindutava agenda as if they were appreciating earlier.
BJP has done what is required in today’s India..Its called nationalism…just in case media have forgotten.
@rajkiran:
Thats a very good point.
Also, I’m not sure why BJP commits to something like a NIC card which clearly it cannot fulfill without first driving the Bangladeshis out. Although the manifesto says it will drive the illegals out, no one has ever presented how it plans to achieve that. The congress/communists will not let its vote-bank wither away just like that. Plus the sekoolar English media will hound BJP for every Bangladeshi muslim it will attempt to deport.
Honestly, I don’t believe that unless the society rises against employing or sheltering the infiltrators, there is not much a political party can do.
BJP KA MENIFESTO ACHA HAI .LEKIN BIASED AUR PSEUDO SECULAR MEDIA AUR PSEUDO SECULAR KO PASAND NAHI AAYA .BAHAAND MEIN JAYE(go to hell)AISE LOG.
Logon ko es par dhayan nahi dena chahite.Ye sab media aur pseudo seular upar se lekar nichey tak BJP ka menifesto dekh kar jal gaye, aag lag gayee unke tan badan mein.Aise logon ko BJP ka menifesto kabhi bhi pasan nahi aayega again “GO TO HELL”(BHAAND MEIN JYE)

I’m also disappointed not to see any agenda item on Coastal Security! (Remember, Narendra Modi criticized Cong. manifesto on this issue!). Or did I miss that agenda item ?
But, overall, its a very good manifesto. Few points are very negative but, I’m willing to live with that.
Medical Colleges:
Manifesto promises 6 new AIIMS. It is a very good move.
However, what about other medical colleges. We need at least additional 100 general medical colleges.
What about medical seats for PG courses ?? Currently, we have a pathetically low number of seats for medical PG courses. I hope BJP must also focus on this.
@Paul
This is friends of BJP website. You can leave your comments on IBNLive or NDTV. They love your kind of people. BJP bashers.
Minorities issues:
I agree with almost all the points in the manifesto on this issue.
However, it only talks about Muslims as minority.
What about other minorities ?? - Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Budhists etc. ?
It was Ram Navmi on 03 April 2009 and nobody wished the people of India a happy Ram navmi. It’s really unfortunate. Saying Jai Sri Ram is now seen as communal. Very unfortunate. BJP should think of this. I’m glad the manifesto was released this day.
I really wish good luck to BJP and Advani.
Please post videos. That is the only way we can see BJP leaders speaking un-edited. I have stopped watching mainstream news channels altogether. Hindi / English. Even the Print.

Friends it’s now our turn to aware more and more people of India from BJP policies. Our strength is too much than some biased media persons. We will have to spread this development message ,vision in all over INDIA.

@rajkiran
when saying job quotas it meant govt jobs and not pvt sector jobs…no where does it say tht they wil give pvt sector quota…also i have not read any news articles of the BJP ever supporting the idea…
Welldone for the very impressive manifesto published by the BJP. It clearly mentions the direct benefits citizens can hope to get if they vote BJP to power. If this manifesto is implemented, I am sure the nation will benefit. No other party has spoken so clearly in its manifesto. However, the sad part is that the media did not give it a thumbs up. Being a pro poor/middle class manifesto. The media should have projected it more vigorously.Media’s job is to inform. However, they only harped on points like ram mandir, ram sethu etc and showed BJP in pooer light. Rahul Gandhi’s nomination gets more media coverage than a national party which promises citizens the benifits of it coming to power. The BJP must aggressively spread the details of its manifesto to the citizens and let them know the truth. This media is a curse on Indian democracy.
Friends,
Please email the following extract of BJP manifesto to atleast 10 of your contacts:
The full manifesto can be downloaded from hereHere are the highlights benefitting all of us:

Yes it is possible to implement this agenda while at the same time reducing the fiscal deficit. The answer lies is making use of IT to sharply target the subsidies to only the deserving people while reducing the corruption and transaction cost. Assuming that the 85% of the subsidies are lost in the chain due to corruption and transaction costs, doing it this way can make a lot of money available for such schemes.
Promises in the BJP’s manifesto have to be seen along with the reforms like introduction of ITsystems (Smartcards etc.), disinvestments, targeted subsidies etc.
The manifesto takes the wind out of poor Rahul Gandhi’s sail who till yesterday went around the country saying BJP doesn’t understand the grief of the poor.
@Paul
Mr Paul, as Anand rightly said ,if you are so much interested in bashing BJP please use stages of CNN - IBN and NDTV which are exclusively doing the same and leave this forum to friends of BJP.
Also check the facts before blabbering like Indian Media about so called killing of Minorities by BJP Govts.
@ BJP Team..
Congrats on your Manifesto and wish u all the best.
Anand
Thanks !

Dear All,
Indeed a Good Manifesto,
I feel the most important one’s are
- Decisive leadership (even Arun Jaitly in one of his meeting has reiterated this)
- Importance of National Security (Primarily, Anti Terror Laws, Sealing of Bangla Border and also ensuring that CBI is Central Bureau of Investigation and not …………)
- Independent Strategic Nuclear Programme (though many may not endorse it)
- Policies to revive economy (Definetely the need of the hour, thought all parties have commented on this)
- Education for all
- Information Technology ( enabling IT across all the spectrum)
- Women empowerment (this I feel is a farce)
- Preserving our cultural heritage (this definetly is not possible by other political parties, esp.. Parties saying that did Lord Ram even existed)
I only hope that people who dont support BJP just get a glimpse of the BJP manifesto and then decide to vote.
Vote for BJP
Regards
Madhu
Very impressive manifesto - now only if people read/ hear about it.
I work in the software industry, but there are many who don’t even know about BJP’s IT policy. We definitely need an alternate national news media which is unbiased in the least.
Any software professional would confirm that nowadays the primary requirement of every (overseas)customer is to have a software that supports multiple languages simply for the reason that it is more sell-able.
The UTF-8 standard-though very basic is supported by all the databases and its reasonably straight forward to ensure that a given IT product e.g.online train reservation etc could be made to support all Indian languages.
In my opinion the BJP must also thrust the point to the people that it stands for the promotion of regional as well as national language and would ensure that IT revolution would be localized to the maximum extent so that IT and computer literacy does not remain the privilege of the elite.
Dear Sir,
I had lot of hope in BJP but after you lost the manifesto in last LS election you people have spoiled youe image by not playing an important role as an major opposition party.
Your big leader’s have faught with each other as kid spoiled the good image built under laedership of Sh. Vajpayee ji.
None of you has taken any responsible step when Raj Thakery has attacked the North Indians in Maharashtra.
All this clearly reflects an indiscipline in party and with no common objective to follow.
Superb Manifesto , talking about everthing which India needs including the RAM Temple.
as usual we had the NDTV,IBN and all other idiots talking too much about the manifesto.
they have even distorted the manifesto a bit.
Hope BJP will come back to powere and looks into these media people who all of sudden become more and more psudeo secular during election and support congress,
the more they scrutnise us the more they are giving BJP airtime
what a good way to get air time , without paying money like congres from swiss bank,,,
no wonder media kept silent on swiss money
Hi Friends,
A very good manifesto but needs to be punlicised in all national/local newspapers even if these so called stooges of so called secular parties in news channels dont highlight it well enough.
First and foremost as i have been writing supportng BJP since start of ths website and many articles of mine are a pointer to that I would like to specify few things I observed in BJP unit of Karnataka :
1.Deserters from other parties have been given tickets especially people like LR Shivaramegowda
2.These people who have so joined now are all blood sucking creatures who earlier bayed for blood of BJP when they were in Congress/JD(S)
3.There seems to be too much people jumping into the party which gives it a feeling that it looks more like Congress rather thn BJP which had intellectuals at its helm.
4 Stop infighting and work towrards victory.
Thanks
Vijay
Dear Friends,
The BJP manifesto is very good. Especially the idea of issuing a National Identity Card is very much a step in the right direction, given the security situation in the country and the heavy infiltration of Bangladeshis etc.
As regards the media’s BJP bashing and Hindu bashing, there is a reason behind the media behaving the it is doing against Hindutva. I strongly suspect that they are all foreign funded. Please go thro’ the report at the link at http://namar.wordpress.com/2008/11/06/indian-media-ownership-facts/.
There is not one single print or visual media that is not anti-Hindu in its reporting. I feel sorry that BJP has not given any thought in this direction. But PR is very essential. or else the positive aspects of old NDA regime and current BJP ruled states is overlooked and everything is painted black.
There is one more site which give info on how foreign funds are coming to India and for whom. Please go thro http://indianrealist.wordpress.com/2008/12/25/mischief-money-from-other-countries/
Please, if any of you can, please advise BJP to start a channel of its own or atleast started by a group of its supporters.
All the very best to BJP, India’s only Hindu political party.
Ajith, I agree with you completely, this Manifesto should be communicated properly to the voters as that Bastard Congress has bought the Media.
Paul, BJP is not against Muslims and Christians. For your information these Christian Missions, scoundrals give financial assistance & in return tell the concerned people to convert into Christians and some Muslims cheer Pakistan during Cricket Matches between India & Pakistan. What sort of loyalty is this? My native place is is Karnataka and sometimes i do speak Kannada but when it comes to loyalty, naturally, by instinct I love Maharashtra. Then why can’t the Muslims behave like that.
CONTINUING RESERVATIONS IS A VERY BAAAAD POINT. RESERVATION UPTILL CLASS X SHOULD BE ADOPTED. JUST DO THIS AND SEE THE CHANGE IN COUPLE OF YEARS. IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD THAT RESRVATION IS HARMFUL FOR EVERYBODY.
Happy with the manifesto… hopefully NDA manifesto should be on the same lines… i can clearly see that BJP has a vision to take India on the path of development and a future world super power… if only our media were not biased and projected the good things about the BJP… is anybody listening here???? BJP needs a good English channel… Jayalalitha has her own channel.. even Karunanidhi has his own… i see that most of the English media is anti BJP… what is BJP doing about this??? many of my friends are influenced by the media and they have some reservations about BJP… i have had to talk them and convince them to vote for BJP… but we cannot do that with all of them… hopefully things will change and BJP decides to do something about this bias…
BJP your agenda is very good, but it needs to reach as much people as it can, we all know the electronic media is bought by the congress, channels like NDTV, CNN IBN are doing BJP bashing all day and they are reducing your votes to a large extent.
Here is a suggestion you have to use your best people for this media war. Apart from Ravi Shankar Prasad nobody is able to take on these media people, he is the only person who appears to be confident and who looks convincing. Mr. Arun Jaitely is the perfect choice for this role.
Please ask him to appear on these channels and now when the elections are so near, it is your job to make people understand what your manifesto say. Please use leaders like Arun Jaitely, Ravi Shankar Prasad more often to interact with the media.
TIME TO TAKE SIDES
this is my personal request to one and all..
the time to take sides has finally arrived…pls do vote in this election..
if you chose to support the BJP , then pls downlod the VOTE BJP pic from this link
http://i40.tinypic.com/2mxhpie.jpg
and post it as your profile pic in social networking sites such as orkut or facebook or ur blog (or atleast upload it in your web album) this is just to create more awareness and curiosity abt our party..it is to generate more debate abt our party and its manifesto and objectives.. so that PEOPLE MAY HATE US OR LOVE US BUT CANT IGNORE US..
it is to counter the utterly biased and sickular propaganda of the english language media so that people become interested in looking for the truth instead of blindly following the media..
so go ahead announce your support for a strong and prosperous INDIA..
good manifesto. I would suggest that a central university be created to study all the religions and find a synthesis and harmony and thus graduate into spirituality. This will be a first step in solving the so called communal divide.
Good manifesto. I suggest that a central university be created to study all the religions leading to a synthesis and harmony among all religions. One can then graduate from religion into spirituality which is the essence of Indian culture.
I think the BJP has a nationalistic agenda, no doubt about it. But it must clearly give a message that mob rule would not be tolerated.
We are seeing lawlessness and mob rule everywhere:
1. Against women visiting pubs
2. In Gujarat in 2002
3. In Orissa recently.
4. Mob violence against north Indians
BJP must frame laws against forced religious conversions but mobs cannot be allowed to take laws into their own hands as happened in Gujarat in 2002.
BJP should try to make a modern India where the religion or caste of a person is his personal matter, just like the most developed countries of the world. It should also acknowledge the contribution of moderate Muslims, Parsis, Sikhs, Christians etc. in the building of modern India.
India’s strength lies in diversity and not in intolerance. Morever, 11 crore Muslims cannot be pushed into ghettos or treated like second class citizens. If organizations like RSS are truly patriotic they should actively recruit people of all religions into their ranks so that together we can build a strong and powerful India like the US of today.
I think reservations should be curbed. India had enough of reservations and all this kind of non-sense. We need ONE INDIA A STRONG INDIA.
I think every Indian would love BJP if it proves to be beneficial to all INDIANS, not merely for someone who is a Hindu.
Morever, if it clearly avoids violence but believes in rule of law for all, it is fit to be considered a nationalistic party. In fact, if it gives up its 14th century ideologies of violence, mob killings and intolerance, then even good people from other parties like Dr. Manmohan Singh and non-corrupt politicians like A.K. Antony can join it.
However if they continue to bring up hatred rousing figures like Modi or Varun Gandhi (who has even ranted against Sikhs (http://sikhsangat.org/1469/2009/03/varun-gandhi-labelled-sikhs-of-india-as-terrorist/)
then with all its administrative efforts also, in the end the terrorist attacks will only increase because more and more muslims will lose faith in the Indian judiciary and take refugee in extremist groups.
Hitler was also a good administrator. Being good administrator alone is not good enough. One has to be a good human being and tolerant of diversity in the 21st century.
I am a bit circumspect, the manifesto has a lot of tax-cuts, expenditure increases, etc. It also talks about leaving 2000 crores tax by removing close to 1 crore people from the tax-net. I don’t understand if this amounts to fiscal responsibility. Please do clarify ……
Great manifesto.
Provide an SMALL Homework for the INDIAN CITIZENS.
Why not INTERNAL SECURITY -point not made in the manifesto Sir.
three best questions for the election2009
lot of people wants to act on election.so much activity due to young ,computor using people.
I invite people to think which they think are three most important questions you would like to ask to bjp and congress.
my questions will be
1)what is your population policy. given 50 % of population below 25 and kind of jobs available you can imagine future of our country.
2)what is vision 2015-gdp,.bop,forex reserve..
given our panchant for remaining poor third world country after 60 years of independence, having 35% as saving rate why are we dependent on foreign capital for our growth???? any solution to grow and having balance of payment to be positive???
3)what is your vision on future of family life.
how a family can servive in this world of fast changing turbulant times of job being lost and recreated , education cost being made prohibitively high ,middle class hardly have one child, and having to take care of old parents in country where people getting pention are less then 5%.
And lower income group have multiple childrens.
creating poverty , the future vote bank.
The BJP manifesto was an encouraging one .However the follwing are my reservations.
* Rice/Wheet at Rs2 per Kg appears too popolusit anf may not be genuinely practical. We can be sure of complaints on misuse and supply of substandard grains.
*Blanket waiver of farmers loan is another populist assurance. Such waivers have to be qualified protecting ONLY those who suffered due to failure of rain fall, flood etc. Irresponsible borrowers cannot be allowed to get away in the guise of farmer.
Most of the other items - viz ifrastucture building, getting back black money from Swiss banks (will it be really possible?), linking major rivers, welfare of Jawans and uniform pension for same rank, stess on national security, checking illegal migration etc are most welcome steps.
Has anyone done a similar point by point analysis of congress manifesto . If yes please post it here . It will be good if we can see how congress fares in all these areas . We will be able to better convey the message to masses based on the comparative study .
RESERVATION IS A BAAAD THING. THIS RESERVATION IS PULLING INDIA DOWN. ITS HIGH TIME IT SHOULD BE ABOLISHED. I CHANGE MY OPINION OF RESERVATION TO CLASS X IN SCHOOL TO ‘NO’ RESERVATIONS AT ALL.
BJP SHOULD PRINT THIS MANIFESTO IN SHORT ON 1 OR 2 SHEETS OF PAPER INSTEAD OF BOOKLET TO EVERY HOUSE AS THAT CONGRESS, SCOUNDRAL HAS BOUGHT ALL TV CHANNELS. AND BY THIS WAY EVERYONE WHO MAY NOT BE IN TOUCH WITH MEDIA WILL GET TO READ THE MANIFESTO. STILL TIME HAS NOT RUN OUT, EVEN IF THE VOTER GETS IT BEFORE VOTING DAY ITS FINE. PLEASE THINK OF THIS BJP.

To Mr.R.Kasthuriraangan
Yes some of the proposals might sound populist but this is a dharma yuddha and BJP is in the righteous side of the war.In such a case to ensure the ultimate victory of the truth, the BJP must use every available option of sam ,daam, dand, bhed. This could include imitating the populist slogans of the opponents in a few cases if the same helps realize upholding the national interest.
Although the manifesto..is high on promise and populist..but this is hard reality which is to be followed inorder to win. After reading and totally inspired by Mr LK Advani My Country My Life, I would have liked the manifesto to have incorporated some of the views articluated by Mr Advani in his book. Judicial reforms, police reforms are some of the key areas on which the manifesto remains silent on..I think it is much needed..
is it true ??????????
All the people in orissa after the great trajedy are still unable to reach their orginall destiny did any one see that plz help them.
please bann all alcoholic powders like passpass, hans etc.pls take out all alcoholic drinks from INDIA……….pls make all our places clean & pure…….not only in city….we want to see it everywhere
paul is right……. people in orissa is still suffering
we the people are very smart
we know to whom we have to vote for the upcoming of the country
you say you will bring wealth to this country
no you are wrong
our country would have bee more developed if BJP would have not come in power
BJP just want to divide the unity in diversity in the name of GODS
its too late people of INDIA have woke up from their sleep
I do not understand your comment Salim. BJP was in power just twice after independence. Congress is the one talking about minority reservations. Can you please substantiate how is BJP the dividing power?
Hi Salim,
What you are saying is not true. If you remember, in Atal Ji’s government, country has progressed the most with peace with Pakistan. This is a wrong understanding that BJP is anti muslim rather I would say that other parties like Congress, SP et.c. are anti-muslims, they use muslims for their own benefits and then ignore them for next 5 years. Also, if you will see that Congress is the only one which has only partitioned India, initially the broke us into India and Pakistan, and then they are trying to divide Hindus with reservation politics and similar they will continue untill they will split Hindustan into further smaller pieces based on caste and religion.
Open your eye my brother and vote for BJP because this is the only party which can bring peace and wealth to India.

salim is right bjp in alliance with rss and sivasena is disturbing christians and muslims
I dont know why all these so called secularists are targetting BJP as communal. They dont have the guts to appreciate BJP, especially Mr.Narendra Modi who has achieved and won the hearts of people of Gujarat by concentrating on infrastructure development in the past 5-6 years. And has proven to be the best Chief Executive Officer of Gujarat. If the media is really liking development, they should highlight the development programs carried out by Narendra Modi and other BJP ruled states and the selfish plans of other political parties and leaders who have not done enough for their states should be exposed honestly. Instead of cornering and blaming BJP let the media make room for positive debate on improvements and achievement during BJP rule and Congress rule.
Let the people judge whether voting BJP to power will be good for the people or not.
what is there in bjp to appreciate them
some candidates in Gujarath are in criminal case what about that
[...] points from the BJP Manifesto and IT [...]
many bombs found in BJP’s center @ mallur if u r intrested in INDIA’s security why u r keeping bombs and such matterials
Dear Salim, BJP is not against Muslims, its true what Anand is saying, Congress has just used Muslims for votes, realise this, observe this and still is doing that. BJP just feels that everyone should have equal rights. Muslims marrying more than once is not correct. There are Constituencies where majority population being Muslims have non-Muslim representatives. (Morally also its not correct, men enjoying the liberty of more than 1 marrige & female left with only 1 husband, then in that case females also should be allowed to have more than 1 husband. Even women are human beings, they shouldn’t be treated like dirt.) The point is, many produce kids n leave them to fend on themselves. These kids have to be taken care of, finally it becomes the Governments responsibility, the Tax Payers’ responsibility i.e. you n me. This should be stopped, its high time. In what era are we living???
In Orissa many people are suffering …….some people builds temple where there was churches.IS THIS FARE ………..christians didn’t killed anyone in this world…….But many preists and sisters suffered a lot in many indian places ………..still people in orissa is suferring ..ARE ur eyes BLIND..we r also indians
Many BJP voters, the educated class, it seems go on holidaying on voting day, this is where BJP is going wrong. So stupid are these people, they don’t vote and later keep on complaining. BJP, you have to get these people to vote at any cost because majority who vote are lower class people who are paid. Even this class will begin to hate the Third Class Congress if you tell the real behaviour of Congress i.e. Corruption, Mismanagement, Power Grabbing etc. etc. etc. there is no end to list of wrong doings of Congress. So these votes, the one who don’t vote & your fixed voters will make a lot of difference.
Medical Education has become so costly and so has become treatment cost. BJP should subsidise Medical Education. Because as the Dr. who has put lot of money in his Degree tries to recover it by fleecing patients. Medical Machines and Equipments which are very costly should be subsidised so that its treatment will also be cheaper. Unexpected health problems are in nobodys’ hands, at least there should be reasonable charges in Medical treatment. Civil Hospital Docters are literally corrupt bastards who sell the subsidised medicenes outside and also they don’t take proper care of the patients there. How will & to whom will the patients there complain as they are economically of the lower strata.
Police Officers are corrupt because they have to pay hefty bribes while posting so they try to recover that money from innocent citizens given a chance.
The R.T.O.(Regional Transport Officer) and others like clerk etc in that office take money on each new vehicle registered. Why? Just to recover the Bribes they have given while getting into service. BJP should think on these points.
The Municipal Corporation takes bribe in almost every possible work, inspite of having Permanent, secure jobs.
The Pollution Control Board is just ‘USELESS’. There is no check of effluents left in the streams or the Gutters left by Industries. In many places this Sewage water is used for Agriculture. Pure Sewage water is very fertile for Agricultural purpose but because of this water the quality of soil is deteriorating and the Crops are failing. These chemicals left by Industries come into the food through food grain. So first the Farmer stands to lose as he doesn’t get good price for his bad crop and secondly the citizens as they consume this chemical infested food. Cleansing and recycling of water should be done. BJP should think about this as this is directly affecting many people.
Please add these points to the manifesto.
There are around 265,000 gram panchayats in India.
If the government would open a internet center in each panchayat limit where it is technically feasible,
#this will provide internet connectivity to the villages.
# provide direct employment to atleast 75000-1lakh people and indirectly to many more(comp. Servicing etc).
When the American Government was formed some 100 years ago, one of the first things they did was make proper Road to every village as it gets connected to the main Cities and travel time reduces(Farm produce could be taken to Market soon also travelling time reduced). Here the Congress announces every Election about Gram Sadak but still they are announcing only and eats the money alloted for it. BJP SHOULD MAKE MOTORABLE ROADS TO EACH VILLAGE.
Make small Documentries showing 1)The importance of FAMILY PLANNING, 2)Showing ill-effects of any kind of RESERVATION & 3) Ill-effects of CORRUPTION. Show them on TV & in Theatres.
Beacause of this massive CORRUPTION in Politicians, Bureaucrats, Police Inspectors Government people etc. the Morale of quite many people has gone down especially the Class 4 workers who just don’t want to work hard be it a Waiter in a Hotel, a Salesman in Garment shop, a farm labourer, a construction labourer etc. So BJP should wash out Corruption as Shri Narendra Modi has achieved quite in eliminating CORRUPTION.
BJP, PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THE MANIFESTO ON 1 OR 2 PAGES & DISTRIBUTE THEM TO EVERY HOUSE, NOT VOTER. THIS WAY THE COST & TIME OF PRINTING ALSO WILL BE SAVED.
Today Sonia Gandhi called Advaniji a servant of RSS. In think even she like Priyanka Vadhera is foolish. RSS is the parent party of BJP and if children listen to their parents they don’t become servants.
Today Sonia Gandhi called Advaniji a servant of RSS. I think, like Priyanka Vadhera, she also is foolish. RSS is the parent party of BJP & if children listen to their parents they don’t get called as servants. And for that matter Advaniji does what falls in line with the Idealogies of both the Parties so that cannot be called as serving RSS.
The short Manifesto of 1 or 2 pages should also mention about the works which were started by BJP but stopped by that Scoundral, Third Class, Thief, Cheap. Hypocrite Congress for obvious reasons. Print this according to Constituency-specific(ex. in Maharashtra in Solapur District & Tasgaon from where ex-Dep. Chief Minister R. R. Patil hails, some 53000 Farmers altogether are boycotting elections come what may as their Water problem has not been solved for years), State- specific issues( OCTROI, Electricity, Security, Atrocities of Backward class to Upper Class & considering the whole Country(ex. Interlinking of Rivers). Please do this BJP as the media has been bought by Congress. Even if this reaches a day or 2 before voting day it will be okay. BJP can win by vast majority if it does this. PLEASE DO IT BJP.
“PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THE MANIFESTO TO EACH HOUSE.”

THE COMMENT GIVEN BY SOME KIREN FROM ORISSA IS ABSOLUTELY FOOLISH. MR. KIREN FOR THIS MENTALITY “KANDHAMAL” LIKE SITUATIONS ARE ARISING IN OUR COUNTRY. BEAWARE OF THIS OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE RESPOSIBLE FOR YOUR ACT.VOTE FOR BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY. JAI SRI RAM.

Good points. Here a few additions
1. I don’t see why women must go to work. It is the men who must provide for their families. And their must be plenty of jobs for all men to take care of their families.
2. And why not secure borders by eliminating Mickey Mouse states like Bhutan, nepal, mala dvipa and Srilanka.
3. Set minimum wage at 200 $ per month like Brazil and most developing countries and rais this wage each year. If a family makes more money than that (e.g. wife is working also) than let them pay tax on the extra income. If necesaary introduce a new currency (e.g. 1 Indo equal to 1 euro).
4. Prices of goods and commodities like rice etc can not be regulated by govenment. If you set 1 kg to 2 Rs, the the rest must come from the state/tax payers which is bad. In order to have purchasing power for everyone, this must be regulated with the minimum wage mechanism. All Western countries raise their mimimum wage each year so that the people are not set back in purchasing power. Increased purchasing power leads to increased demand and production and thuis cycles repeats.
5. Make a plan to divert heavy monssoon rains to thar dessert, which can then be used for harvesting bio-diesel and oils for cars. This will also relief the Gangetic plains from floods. Also land can be won by landfilling the sea between Tamil Nadu and Lanka.
6. Up and Bihar are overpopulated and have too much settlements. There are villages with 10 persons which have electricity and their are villages with 10,000 which have not. If these small villages have no historic importance then govenment should buy the land (for foresterisation) and settle the people in another place (preferably in less denser states).
7. If muslims can practice polygamy why can’t others. Fix this.
The B J P manifesto is complete,we hope bjp must come into center with major party,
If some thing happen & bjp is not able to make government,
PL.applied full of BJP manifesto, where bjp govt is there.I mean states like gujarat,mp etc..
Dharmchandra agarwal
Surprising result will come out in favour of bjp don’t worry .
BJP, Your Manifesto has not reached my house, it means it might have not reached many houses.

BJP, Your campaigning is weak.

hi…
@anushree..
y shud it distrub christians n muslims if BJP is with RSS n shivasena, are christians n muslims communal??
u say n support PAUL comment…. its really aweful, go with actual facts n not by bloody biased media.
Don’t u knw the history, muslims n christians(BRITISH) have harmed al parts of the country(since 500AD).
today you see more number of ancient tempels destroyed, broken and many idols stolen(most of them in london museum), what is the cause of al this?? but we hv always tolerated…. don’t u knw the plight of NALANDA university n library ??It burnt into ashes for almost 6 months imagine the huge collection of resourse tat we have sacrificed.. but still we hv tolerated.
these r just a few samples in HUGE INDIAN HISTORY and CIVILIZATION.
M really proud to be a HINDU equally INDIAN.
I have mentioned th above in respect to ur comment on ORISSA christians.
al buildings vit a cross on top doesnt become a church!!
most f th destroyed so called CHURCHS were involved in convertion using cheap tricks.
you get what you sow!!
hence they had to face the consequences.
By saying al this m not against christianity or christians or muslims but we must correct the mistake done in the past.
I mean to say we al must UNITE,we must be treated as INDIANS in al sectors.
we must hate the word “minority”.
how do u use the word “minor” in a secular country. only cong, lalu, maya, paswan use for vote bank politics.
WE al are INDIANS,Lets support a party which upholds INDIAN culture and the required planning for the present day ,come on ppl support BJP.
proud to be INDIAN.JAI HIND.
i want BJB,s new agenda to come in to power
Anusree your comments are totally baseless. You said what is their in BJP to praise them. Atleast, BJP had stopped India becoming a monoply of congress . You should see the following positive things in the BJP.
a) BJP/NDA government started the Golden Quadirlateral Road which congress didn’t even dream of its rule in 50 years.
b) BJP government in Gujarat had connected all the major rivers and is irrigating thousands of acres of dry land inspite of all the agitations by Medha Patkar and other non-sensical organizations.
c) BJP ruled Karnataka government has started working on completing the major metro railway in South India.
d) BJP ruled M.P government has successfully implemented a major policy that will benefit women and girls, which is now copied by congress ruled states.
e) BJP ruled Chattisgarh government had taken pro-poor steps which helps BPL families.
f) BJP/NDA rule had increased the Forex reserves of India by multi-fold.
