I thought as Advani said, BJP changed its slogan to “Justice to All, Discrimination against none”… because, there is obviously lot of appeasement in there in the manifesto (which I’m not against though)

Being a real friend of BJP and a very loyal well wisher, I wish to suggest some course correction for the party.

    1. There are still a significant number of people out there who are educated and look at BJP as “Communal” party. There is need to expose more and more of the vote bank communal politics of other parties and also appeasement.

    2. Party is being complacent in places where it is already in power. I see this happening a lot in Karnataka. I feel that party is not capitalizing on the opportunity which it got by focussing on the development of state and letting people know about the development which happened during their rule.
After the delimitation, urban votes have become very significant, and it is very easy to reach out to the urban middle class through various communication channels, most significantly through TV Channels. In this case local language channels play a very important role.

Let me be more specific towards Bangalore.
The candidates are not being introduced in a systamatic way to the voters. Urban areas now being heavily dominated by migrants, it is very important to reach out to them through various interactive sessions. It should not be assumed that every one knows my candidate. Even the profile of candidates in Bangalore except for Mr.Ananth Kumar is not known.
Past achievements made by candidates like Mr.Ananth Kumar should be highlighted like how much percentage of MPLAD funds are spent, on which projects, change achieved etc.,
Expose the turn coats like Dr.Sangliana

Even BJP web site of LK Advani web site doesnt have detailed profile of candidates, which is very unfortunate. There are lot of fence sitters, who say they want to go by the profile of candidates, and Friends of BJP says, “host drawing room conversations” How can we hos when we ourself are not even aware of our candidates?

I have been a BJP voter all my life. But I am being increasingly frustrated with the attitude of BJP in taking initiatives to help people.

Other example of BJP losing its competitive is being seen in Hyderabad. There were times like early 90’s where Secunderabad was a BJP bastion, and Hyderabad is well fought battle. That is missing now because there is no proper leadership, which has stood by people in troubled times in the city of Hyderabad. People in Hyderabad feel that BJP have abandoned them, and the same interest is not in BJP to protect the genuine interests of “majorities”

Please introspect, and make a difference.
We are real friends. Constructive criticism is for us to improve the party, and protect ourselves.

    I am a BJP supporter.Following are the suggestions I have :-
1)Let us have a transparent inner party democracy.Like US let the accredited party members vote for the post of Party Leader to become PM when we win the national election.
2)Let us dump obscurantism.Let us not encourage people to still dwell on on non productive issues like Ram Mandir.
2)Let emphasis on a an sound economic policy.I wish we borrow it from the erstwhile Swatantra Party’s manifesto.
3)No compromise on uniform civil code or on article 370.CMP should be drafted strictly on the above lines.
4)Foreign policy should be strictly neutral and shoul be India-centric.
5)Focus on alternative energy and renewable energy. To aim for a zero dependency for our energy needs from middle east countries.
6)Truely to be secular treat everybody equally.Ignore criticism from psuedo secular parties.
    7) To be different even if we get 200 seats learn to sit in the opposition in the parliment. We do not need the likes of Mayawathis, Jayalalithas etc. as our parters. If we do this it will help us long term.
