Friends of BJP to be revived
Great News! In his Presidential Address at the National Council meeting in Indore on Feb 18, BJP President Nitin Gadkari has said that Friends of BJP will be revived: “We are also planning to revive Friends of BJP, an associate organisation of the non-member Well Wishers of the party. All patriotic citizens, especially all young professionals who look forward to BJP as an instrument of making India a resurgent republic are welcome to join this forum.”
We will be back with more details soon.

Respected sir,
I sukhlal b raika staying in bangalore . i want to bring in your notice that people in bangalore are not happy with the our parties governance the points which came in my views are like firstly they
have to open some thing so called site registeration which will benefit all classes(middle especially) . Reduce food prices ,create more jobs and improve law and order. By this you should not concluded that BSY is not a good leader. He is an excellent leader
THANKING YOU
I am young, patriotic and a proud Indian. I voted for the BJP in 1998. I have not voted for it again. I will not vote for it again until it gives up-
a) Divisive politics (anti-national);
b) Its association with violent, antisocial vigilante groups like the VHP and BD; and
c) Negative politics e.g. abusing a respected prime-minister repeatedly, using divide and rule violence to win votes e.g Varun Gandhi
d) Sharing power with criminal political elements like Shibu Soren and the Reddy brothers
Condemning the Shiv Sena and recognizing that Mumbai is for all Indians is a very good step. I hope we see more steps in this direction.
Good to see the site up n running again… hey where’s mockingbuddha… wud love to read his comments once again on this site.. the last one under Sudheendra Kulkarni was a treat…
Oops, amn’t I surprised. Never thought that this forum will reawaken. Better luck this time.

Friends of BJP has proven its strong network of BJP supporters. It has certainly crossed a few milestones to feel legitimately proud of in the tune of binding people of a common interest ie: supporting the Indian values and culture in a vision for the wider perspective of national reconstruction. It stands one the major platform to reflect views regarding political updowns. I hope under the able leadership and active guidance of Sri Gadkari The Friends of BJP forum will revive soon. Lets all join hands to make it more practical.

WELL SAID…
Please realize that expelling Jaswant Singh and hounding out a national icon like MF Hussain makes the BJP look like certain political parties on the other side of Wagah border. This is a disaster for urban and youth votes nobody is interested in 90s style cowbelt ‘Hindutva’ politics. Demography has changed, the RSS has become the embarassing uncle in the corner nobody even wants to acknowledge as being still alive. Less said about VHP and BD the better.
And hope this advice is taken in the right spirit
Sumit
SUMIT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE RSS. IT IS A NATIONALISTIC ORGANISASTION. IT RUNS MANY SCHOOLS HOSPITAL CHARITABLE TRUST.YOU MAY NOT BE A HINDU BUT
I AM AND PROUD TO BE ONE.CONGRESS IS DIVIDING THE COUNTRY ON THE BASIS OF CAST, RELIGION .IT HAS INSTALLED MANY RESERVATION FOR SCHEDULED CASTE,TRIBES AND OBC. MANY OF THE OBC WHICH ARE DEFINED BY THE GOVERMENT ARE NOT POOR SUCH AS JAT COMMUNITY AND MANY OTHER COMMUNITY. AND ONE FACT THAT U MAY NOT KNOW IS THAT “MUSLIMS HAVE BEEN GIVEN OBC STATUS” .THESE POLICY ARE CLEARLY DIVISIVE.INFLATION AND ECONOMIC POLICY OF THE GOVT IS ALSO VERY BAD.CONGRESS IS CRITCIZING TASLIMA NASREEN AND PRAISING M F HUSSAIN CLEARLY SHOW THE DOUBLE STANDARD OF THE PARTY.CONGRESS HAS ENTERED INTO AN ALLIANCE WITH MADHU KODA(A TOUT). IT IS SUPPORTING TERRORIST LIKE AFJAL GURU AND QUESTIONING THE BATLA HOUSE ENCOUNTER AND HEROICS OF MC SHARMA. HOW CAN U LIKE SUCH A PARTY.
BJP seems to be getting its act together under Gadkari. Thanks to Mr Goel for conveying some of our suggestions to the party. keep going,we are solidly with you.

@ Sumit
Again… well said.. stong language, but very relevant content… but big question…is anyone listening??
I have only one suggestion to make to the BJP Leadership:
PLEASE CO-ORDINATE WITH ALL ANTI-CONGRESS POLITICAL PARTIES AND FORM A JOINT PLATFORM TO DEFEAT AND OUST THE CONGRESS PARTY FROM POWER. CONGRESS HAS GOVERNED INDIA SINCE INDEPENDENCE ALMOST UNINTERRUPED AND PEOPLE HAVE NO POWER TO REMOVE THEM AS THEY MANAGE TO COME BACK TO POWER BY WINNING ELECTIONS EVERY TIME FOR A DIVIDED OPPISITION POLITICAL FORCE. CONGRESS HAS VERY INTELLIGENTLY PLAYED THE COMMUNAL/SECULAR CARD TO KEEP THE OPPOSITION DIVIDED SO THAT THEY ALWAYS WIN ELECTIONS BY DEFAULT.
IT IS EARNEST REQUEST TO THE BJP LEADERSHIP TO SHED THEIR COMMUNAL TAG AND PERFORM THE MAXIMUM SACRIFICE BY MAKING A STRONG STATEMENT FOR MAKING A NEW BEGINNING AND EFFECT A POLICY CHANGE IN SETTING UP A POLITICAL AGENDA SO THAT ALL THE FRAGMENTED NON-CONGRESS POLITICAL PARTIES CAN COME UNDER ITS UMBRELLA WITHOUT THE FEAR OF THEM BEING CALLED TO BE COMING NEAR TO A “COMMUNAL PARTY”.
THE WORD ‘HINDUTVA’ IS MISUNDERSTOOD AND WILLFULLY MISINTERPRETED WHATEVER ITS INTERPRETATION MAY BE FROM THE SC. SO GO FOR A NEW WORD ‘BHARATIYATVA’ WHICH IS INDIANNESS AND WOULD MATCH PERFECTLY WITH THE NATIONALISM BJP STANDS FOR.
IN THE ERA OF COALITION POLITICS FRAGMENTED PARTIES MUST UNITE IF ONE HAS TO TAKE ON THE MIGHT OF THE SHREWD AND MISCHEVIOUS CONGRESS. UNLESS IT IS DONE CONGRESS WILL GO ON RULING INDIA FOR NEXT 50 YEARS AND ULTIMATE SUFFERERS WOULD BE THE PEOPLE. THE PEOPLE ARE SO HELPLESS THAT THEY CANNOT CHANGE A CONGRESS GOVERNMENT BY VOTES ONLY AS THE OPPOSITION IS ALWAYS KEPT SPLINTERED BY CONGRESS IN NAME OF COMMUNAL/ SECULAR DIVIDE.
TIME HAS COME TO UNITE AND GIVE THE PEOPLE A CHANCE TO OUST CONGRESS FROM THE HEGEMONY OF POWER AND MIS-RULE.
BJP, NEEDS TO WIN THE COMING UTTAR PRADESH ELECTIONS. IT WILL BE THE BENCHMARK ACHEIVEMENT FOR THE PARTY. NATIONWIDE,PARTY WILL REGAIN IT’S IMMENSE STRENGHT,WHICH IT SHOWED IN 1999. HARD WORK IS NEEDED IN WINNING UTTAR PRADESH.
Its been a month after posting that friends of BJP will be revived. Can I expect someone to say what is the progress?
@ Rajat Jain, yelling in a loud voice in capital letters like you when criticized is a sign is not a sign of maturity or tolerance. It is both uncouth and bad manners.
It reminds me of antisocial vigilante groups like VHP and BD who think they can take law into their hands whenever private citizens of this secular, democratic, Indian republic do something they don’t agree with. Like beating up women, destroying and burning classrooms, attacking teachers and VCs, vandalizing other people’s places of worship, killing poor Indians who just happen to belong to other communities etc. I don’t see any difference between them and some CPM and DYFI guys.
And whether I am a Hindu or not is not an issue at all. As long as I am an Indian, that is good enough. And I will criticize the RSS, because I was born and brought up in a traditional family that had a strong bond with the RSS, and I know what it is all about. FYI everybody in my generation think they are out to divide the country just like British. None of us want anything to do with the RSS and I have one uncle who still follows that worldview. We just tolarate him, we don’t like him. And he sits in the corner in family occasions, tolerated but not really respected. And I won’t be sending my children to any RSS school. Just like the leaders of the BJP and the ppl who set up friends of BJP.
SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
Men and women of India, lend me your years,
Let’s praise the lord and wish the queen with cheers,
We will soon bury our democracy in grand fashion,
And start putting quotacracy in full motion,
For SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
Dr Kalam did not find us empowering,
So he sent our bill for profit back, enquiring,
We were not amused by his checking,
So we had to send him packing,
For SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
Mr. Shivraj Patil is the most pliant and cool,
But he was rejected by Mr Karat the fool,
We played the women card as the tool,
Presto! Everything fell in place like stool,
For SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
The CEC has been a thorn since Sheshan,
And blocked all our plans with passion,
We moved along so far with great caution,
But no more; now we are on our mission,
For SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
When we put an admirer as the CEC,
Things started to get real easy,
Wouldn’t care if his records look messy,
Ignore such talk like gibberish of the crazy,
For SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
While the president’s wearing our jacket,
And the CEC already in our pocket,
Let us put the power plug in the socket,
Pass women’s empowerment bill as a rocket,
For SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
The communists never trusted the constitution,
The BJP is committing suicide as the opposition,
The rest are only interested in weird distribution,
So, we can destroy the parliament as an institution,
For SoniaG wants to empower the nation!
When Congress is taking steps to revive the party in places like Tamil nadu where congress is not a major player like the other dravidian parties, i dont see any attempt from BJP, Rahul’s youth congress campaign is really working out.
I guess one reason for BJP not able to come to power is its negligence of big states like tamil nadu and andhra, only if some steps are taken to make the party popular now, only then 10 years down the line it will have some presense in south indian states
I am surprised to find that Mr. Gadkari didn’t appoint some aggressive media spokespersons in his team. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rudi, Chandan Mitra and Prakash Javrekar are all soft spoken persons and now he has added Shah Nawaz Hussain another non starter. Please field aggressive speakers having sound legal, political knowledge and complete command over english language to articulate and defend party stand in media. Even BSP has managed to field an aggressive Mr.Ali as their spokesperson who turned up and defended the garland row on tv channels last night.
I agree 100 per cent with Sumit.
